Charles F. Vuotto, Jr. is a senior associate with the Woodbridge-based law firm of Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer. He has practiced primarily in the area of family law since his admission to the New Jersey Bar in 1986, handling issues of property valuation and distribution, alimony, child support, custody, visitation and domestic violence. Mr. Vuotto has been instrumental in shaping and developing the laws of New Jersey related to domestic tort matters involving the Battered Women's Syndrome. He has prosecuted and defended various matters under interstate and international laws including the PKPA, UCCJA and the Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction done at the Hague. Mr. Vuotto is a member of the Family Law Sections of the Middlesex County, Union County and New Jersey State Bar Associations as well as a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association. He serves as a panelist on the Union County Early Settlement Panel. Mr. Vuotto has lectured on Family Law on behalf of the New Jersey Bar Foundation. He was Co-Chairman of the Family and Child Project of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Family Law Section. Prior to coming to the firm, Mr. Vuotto co-authored a family law case digest that has been disseminated by the Institute for Continuing Legal Education of the New Jersey State Bar Association to family judges and lawyers on a yearly basis since 1988.
