Born Chicago, Illinois January 10, 1940; Juris Doctor DePaul University 1963; admission to Illinois Bar 1963; admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois 1963; duly admitted and qualified as an Attorney and Counsellor of the Supreme Court of the United States of America, Washington, D.C. August 26, 1971; JDS Mediation Training Institute, Chicago, Illinois 1998; Illinois State Bar Association Fred Lane Trial Technique Institute 1996-1997.

Richard has practiced matrimonial law since 1963 but has limited his practice to that of divorce since 1983. He is divorced, remarried and the father of two. He lives in Burr Ridge with his wife (Penny Porter -Hinsdale Central, class of 1966) and younger daughter. He credits his ex-wife for encouraging the close relationship that he has always had with his older daughter.

His main, working office is in Oak Brook, Illinois. For the convenience of his clients, he maintains a conference office in Orland Park. Mr. Kulerski officed in Chicago's loop from 1963 to 1980. He has had a suburban office since then.
